Coming this New Year 2027, the Toronto United and the APA Canadian Circuit are partnering to bring you The 2nd Annual United Open, hosted at PicklersHub, Mississauga — a MAJOR tournament to kick off the APA Canadian Circuit 2027!

Ricky Liorti: "We are incredibly excited to bring back The United Open for the second time in franchise history! Our inaugural event welcomed over 360 players, and this time, we're aiming to raise the bar and surpass that milestone."

PicklersHub is one of the GTA's top pickleball facilities, with 9 spacious courts, a lounge, bar, change rooms, mezzanine, and a VIBE like none other!

• Winners choose their hardware: an APA Championship Ring OR a Medal. Your tournament. Your choice. Your hardware.

• EARLY BIRD registration fee: $50 for the first 100 registrants
• Registration fee: $70 after the first 100 registrants
• $30 per event / $80 per PRO event
• Play up to 5 events
• Your spot is not guaranteed until both partners are registered and paid in full. You and your partner have 5 days to register before being put onto the wait-list.
• Maximum 8 teams per division (OPEN/PRO TBD). Spots fill up quickly!

• Wednesday, Jan 27 — Men's/Women's Singles 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 — Age 19+/35+/50+/60+
• Thursday, Jan 28 — Men's/Mixed/Women's Doubles Split Age 3.5-/4.0-/4.5+/PRO — Age 50+/49-
• Friday, Jan 29 — Men's/Women's 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, SR PRO — Age 50+/60+/70+; Men's/Women's Singles PRO
• Saturday, Jan 30 — Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, PRO — Age 19+/35+/50+/60+/70+
• Sunday, Jan 31 — Men's/Women's 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, PRO — Age 19+/35+
• Play starts at 8AM each day. Your event can start as late as 7PM, and events can go as late as 11PM. Times may change depending on registration numbers.

• 3.0 – 5.0 divisions: pool round robins, with the top teams in each pool advancing to a playoff round to determine medal winners. Every team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.
• Games played to 15, Bronze medal match to 15, Gold medal match best 2 out of 3 to 11. All games win by 2.
• PRO/OPEN divisions: double elimination with a minimum of 5 teams.
• USAPA rules apply. All medal matches are refereed; other games refereed when possible. UPA paddles are approved.
• Tournament directors reserve the right to combine brackets and change format based on registration numbers.

• All participants MUST have a DUPR account — scores will be submitted to DUPR. Sign up at https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup
• We use the DUPR/PickleballBrackets self-rating system. The tournament director may move teams playing up too far if they won't be competitive.
• PRO events are for OPEN-level athletes. Ambitious players with a lower rating can email the APA Tournament Director at staffapa@outlook.com for approval.
