The Association of Pickleball Athletes Ontario Circuit Announces National Rebrand
December 17 2025 | By: Michael Chao
The Association of Pickleball Athletes Ontario Circuit has officially rebranded as the Association of Pickleball Athletes Canadian Circuit.
Launched in February 2024 at the inaugural GTA Open hosted at One Health Clubs in Mississauga, the APA quickly established itself as a leader in delivering top-tier pickleball events across Ontario. Beginning in 2026, the APA will expand nationwide—reaching Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec (Montreal), and beyond—ushering in a new era of coast-to-coast competition.
To support this major expansion, CEO and Founder Michael Chao has appointed the APA's inaugural Board of Directors, a leadership group designed to elevate tournament quality, strategic planning, player development, media operations, and long-term growth.

- Tiffany Au - Chief Marketing Officer

“We're the biggest tournament circuit in Canada and we feel it's time to bring our services across the nation. Adding a Board of Directors was essential in helping us make a statement and elevate our product.
Get ready APA fans—the Canadian Circuit is coming to a city near you! Going forward, our tournaments will take place only at premier facilities across the country. We'll be signing pros and amateurs, offering bigger prize pools for PRO divisions, and bringing back livestreaming under a new company. Stay tuned.”
Chief Marketing Officer Tiffany Au
“I'm so excited to join this incredible project. My first ever pickleball tournament was the GTA Open in 2024—and from that moment, I knew I wanted to help this organization grow.”
